1. How do I wear Pendulum Plus?
Pendulum Plus comes with an adjustable length neck lanyard and is intended to be worn like a pendant with Pendulum Plus hanging near the bottom of your ribcage. Alternatively, Pendulum Plus may be carried in a breast pocket of a shirt or blouse. Pendulum Plus will fit inside many of the older style phone holster and may be carried on your waist. However you choose to wear Pendulum Plus, it should be in an upright position to operate automatically. At night, or whenever going to sleep, lay Pendulum Plus flat under your pillow and it will automatically switch to nighttime mode for sleeping rhythms.
2. Can I use Pendulum Plus with my Negative Ion Generator
Negative Ion Generators, like Ionic Breeze or other high energy discharge air cleaners, generate a large field on negative ions that act like a static charge and can damage sensitive electronic equipment like Pendulum Plus. Pendulum Plus should be kept at least 6 feet away from any negative ion generator, and its charger should never be plugged into the same power outlet as the negative ion generator.
3. Is Pendulum Plus safe to use with my baby?
Yes. If the infant is teething place Pendulum Plus in a waterproof cover to prevent moisture from getting into it.
4. How many hours will Pendulum Plus operate on a full charge?
Pendulum Plus’s rechargeable Lithium Polymer battery should operate it for up to 8 to 10 days of use between charges. We recommend recharging Pendulum Plus at least once a week bu no more often that twice a week.
5. How do I check the battery level?
When Pendulum Plus is running you may press and release the START dome switch to display the color of the currently running preset program followed by the color of the current battery level. The battery should be recharged if the displayed color flash is Yellow, Orange or Red.
6. How do I know it’s fully charged?
When Pendulum Plus is in Standby mode and charging the SLED will flash Green once every 2 and ½ minutes. When the battery is fully charge this will change to three successive Green flashes every 2 and ½ minutes. When Pendulum Plus is running and charging the SLED will flash Green once every ten seconds and when the battery is fully charge this will change to three successive Green flashes at ten second intervals.

8. How can I tell Pendulum Plus is working?
Every time Pendulum Plus is started, changes presets or restarts a running preset program, it does an internal diagnostic test to verify its Bio-Pulse emitters are operating correctly. If you press the START dome switch Pendulum Plus will flash two times to indicate the current running mode and then the battery level. As long as the SLED is flashing the normal indications as shown in the User Guide you can be assured it is operating properly. If there is a failure, Pendulum Plus will rapidly and repeatedly flash a unique two color sequence to indicate the source of the problem. Pendulum Plus has an automatic reset mechanism that clears it and restarts it whenever an active charger is disconnected from the charging connector.
9. Can I wear Pendulum Plus during yoga or exercise?
Yes. During exercise Pendulum Plus will automatically raise its output to support your increased activity. Pendulum Plus also features two Meditation programs that can be activated by pressing and holding the SELECT dome switch until the SLED flashes either Blue or Turquoise. Pressing and releasing SELECT while the Meditation program is running will toggle Pendulum Plus between the two meditation presets and it will set the running preset pogram as the new default Meditation program.
10. How does Pendulum Plus change programs?
Pendulum Plus has an internal position and motion sensor that detects your current activity level and changes its programming to respond accordingly. Accessing the Meditation and Wellness Presets is done manually by pressing and holding the SELECT dome switch
11. Do I need to put Pendulum Plus in standby when I take it off?
No, Pendulum Plus will automatically switch to nighttime mode when it is taken off and laying flat and after 9 hours of no movement it will enter Standby mode. When Pendulul Plus is later put back on it automatically reverts to daytime awake mode. Pendulum Plus can be manually placed in Standby Mode by first pressing and holding the SELECT dome switch and while doing so pressing and releasing the START dome switch. To restart Pendulum Plus press and release the START dome switch once.
12. How do I change the default awake, sleep or meditation program?
Pendulum Plus features two daytime, two nighttime and two meditation preset programs. To toggle between the two presets, Pendulum Plus should first be running in that mode and then the SELECT dome switch should be pressed and released once. The SLED will flash the color of the new default preset to indicate it has been changed. Pendulum Plus will then remember and run the new selected preset as the default program for that mode whenever activated.
13. The SLED doesn’t light when press a dome switch or plug in the power adapter.
If Pendulum Plus has been allowed to run the battery too low, or has been left unused for more than a week, the rechargeable battery may be too low to start Pendulum Plus when the charger is first connected. If this is the case, leave Pendulum Plus connected to the charger for at least thirty minutes and then remove and reinsert the charger again. If Pendulum Plus still fails to indicate it is running, then use the USB programming cable plugged into a powered USB port on your computer to charge Pendulum Plus.
14. The SLED flashes two colors rapidly when I press a dome switch or plug in the power adapter.
This indicates Pendulum Plus has detected an internal component failure. Contact NuTesla support via email at support.nutesla.com for instructions have your Pendulum Plus repaired.
15. How do I check to see what version and preset programs are on Pendulum Plus?
Connect Pendulum Plus to an active USB port on either a Windows PC or MacOS computer and press and hold the START dome switch until the SLED starts flashing green or red and green and then release the dome switch. Pendulum Plus will enumerate (appear to the computer) as a flash drive named Rhythmedics. View the contents of this flash drive and open the file named NUTESLA.HTM. This will open your default Internet Browser and Pendulum Plus’s Instrument Information window will be displayed listing its Serial Number, Version Number and installed preset programs. When done, press and release the SELECT dome switch to exit the flash drive mode. Windows or MacOS may display a warn in message when this occurs, but it will not harm either your computer or Pendulum Plus.
